November 2, 2016 is the day we exchanged our vows and fully committed ourselves to each other. Completely unaware of what the future may bring, we gave it all to God and watched Him transform us into one. In the beginning, It was not easy having to fully surrender and dedicate yourself to another person like that. The easy part was knowing that the “other” person was your other half. A match made in heaven! So whatever happened, we both knew that the heavens rooted for us. So, here we are, hitting a seventh year mark of being united in the bonds of holy matrimony. I say cheers to that!

This time it took us only half way into the pregnancy to announce the news. It wasn’t so much a secret as it was finding the perfect setting and photographer to capture this special moment. Let’s just say that it was worth the wait. Plus, I must admit, it was quite an amusement watching the churchgoers glancing and wondering if I just had a Chipotle burrito for breakfast. That’s when I began sharing the news with our friends at church and patients at the clinic. Now it’s not as awkward lol

Every birthday remains a cherished occasion, symbolizing God’s boundless grace and mercy upon us.

Here I am, reaching an age that the younger version of me would consider "old." It's quite amusing to think that way, isn't it? I realize now how silly it is. I want to retract my previous words and apologize to anyone who may have been offended. Because, honestly, it's pretty offensive to me as well.
