It is so good to be home!!!
Happy Tuesday, darlings. Let's make it more interesting and start off with a fun fact: I love having people over! But most importantly, I love spending time with my husband at home. To make your space feel more comfortable and cozy, yet with character, you have to put in blood, sweat, and tears.
Kidding! The heart alone should be enough!
I am sharing images of our living room and our dinning room. Bedroom pictures will be coming soon!
Little by little, our apartment has come to the finish line. In terms of decorating, of course. After many hours, days, and months of internet-searching and store-hopping, we've found our unique pieces.
It is quite the pleasure walking into a home filled with your personal taste!
One of my favorite decorations that we own would be the wall art. Our chosen posters from www.Desenio.com bring a vibe of peacefulness into this crazy world. So much life and depth in those posters! The quiet water with the still palm leaf literally brings nature into the room. When EVEN nature is obedient to the Almighty God, that's when we have to take note - surrender yourself and humble yourself.
When I look at the poster of the girl, I think of freedom. As humans, we have the freedom to think whatever. Buzz kill here: don't forget that your thoughts travel on wings! As one wise person once said, "Be careful of your thoughts, for your thoughts become your words. Be careful of your words, for your words become your actions. Be careful of your actions, for your actions become your habits. Be careful of your habits, for your habits become your character. Be careful of your character, for your character becomes your destiny."
The last poster is an inspirational black on white text. It reminds us to always pay attention to the positive side of life. There are always good and bad things happening around us simultaneously. It's up to us where we choose to focus our attention. No matter what is happening, remember: you're still alive, you're still breathing, all you have to do is smile for yourself. Choose delight!
I am obsessed with our newest addition of quality posters! Now you also have the opportunity to save 25% OFF YOUR NEXT PURCHASE! You have three days to shop with my code JULIES25. They have hundreds of surreal wall art that you can mix and match.

For those who are in the process of putting together their home, here are the TOP 3 things to remember:
1. CUSTOMIZE IT: make it feel like it’s YOUR home by using Bible verses or inspirational quotes that’ll keep you moving forward in life. Your home is an extension of your message. Use quotes or verses that speak to you and your guests. Choose unique sayings that will make the guest read the quote until the very end.
2. COLOR FLOW: do your chosen colors describe you? Brighter colors are clearly for outgoing people. Lighter shades are for those of us that are divine and carefree. Well, what about those who are in dark places right now? Does that mean you must paint your walls as dark as your soul? No. Let that ray of sunshine pass right through those thin cracks. Choose lighter/brighter interior colors to brighten up that gloomy face. But hey, if you want to stay mysterious, then use the darker shades. Think which colors reflect your character!
3. LIVING ATMOSPHERE: in my opinion, the best decor you can display would be photos, candles, essential oils and living plants. Always choose life! Another opinion of mine? Geez, I knew you’d ask.. Family members enlighten the room and brighten the atmosphere. There is nothing more valuable and festive than your family gathered in the living room. Keep in mind, your entire house is the living room.
When somebody enters my home, I want this quote to run through their heads, “Living souls rule here.”
Enjoy decorating your place. Homes can give good first impressions too!
