Hello there soon-to-be-mamas,
New body means new wardrobe! It’s no secret that our bodies begin to change dramatically with each week of pregnancy. Despite the hopping hormones, the stretching uterus, and the extra pounds, we are glowing. Carrying a baby doesn’t automatically give you the permission to go dull with your outfits in public. Yes, we all have those lazy days. We all have those moments when sweats are the only thing our eyes see as we walk into our closet (I’m the ultimate lounging master).
I am sharing this post today to remind each and every one of us that we can still remain feminine, beautiful, and strong! Pregnancy is a divine experience that is meant to be celebrated. We can be radiant during pregnancy by owning our actions, our words, and our looks.
When styling a bump, there is one thing to remember - make the bump area at ease! There should be nothing pressing against the belly. The bump is a strict comfort zone! We don’t want to wear clothes that bring discomfort or even a dash of pain to our bellies. Our baby needs the entire area to move around. Do you remember what it’s like when your husband got into your way during high hormone levels? Yeah, it’s not pretty.
I won’t argue about the pure comfort of a pair of maternity leggings during those months of pregnancy. That doesn’t mean that you have to wear leggings throughout your entire pregnancy. A maternity dress is AS comfortable as a pair of leggings. Here is list of cute and affordable maternity clothes that I put together for the soon-to-be-mamas. I personally adore every single piece that is included in the chosen list below. It allows the “lady” in us to be more prominent.
This very Spring dress is as gorgeous in real life as it looks on the photos. The color pallete on the dress is so earthy and airy. Dressed up or dressed down, I will be repeating this outfit many more times. For my second outfit, I paired my plum-colored tank with a trench coat and trousers. The naturally lovable combination defines chic. Appropriate for an everyday outfit, a layered flowy tank top can be as comfortable as a dress.
A special acknowledgment goes to www.pinkblushmaternity.com for this special collaboration. Together, we made this blog post happen.
