Happy Tuesday, darlings. A little sweetener. A shake of salt and pepper to spice things up. A little somethin-somethin to step up the game. An outfit choice being documented: that's all it is.
"I like your outfit" has always been one of my favorite compliments to give and to receive. Compliments like these are usually important to me for two reasons. Reason 1: when a girl compliments another girl, it is something freakin awesome. It's unusual for a gal to give a compliment to another gal. Attention to detail and respect towards an outfit is admirable. A generous gal is one who's soul shines. Reason 2: your final outfit decision is your own masterpiece. Nobody knows whether it took you an hour or just a couple of minutes to tastefully combine colors and fabrics. You put something together; now wear it with confidence.
School was always one of my favorite places to dress up for. Sweats and sneakers were only reserved for the stressful days of mine. This should be your philosophy as well. Life is too short to constantly make public appearances in lounging clothes. However, if you feel like you're fed up with life, then wear sweats, I guess.
I have decided to quit college to be a full-time wife and to work a full-time job. Most importantly, I did it to pursue what really caught my heart on fire. Since English was always my favorite subject, writing in my own blog is leaving me feeling fulfilled. I can continue working on my passion from home. I have the freedom to express my thoughts and share my life. School has taught me a lot; therefore, I will always remember the lessons as I apply them in my life. Even though I'm not a college student anymore, I am still a student of my new life. I'm always learning to be a better roommate and a better life partner.
Here is the dress, the coat, and the leather highs I wore this weekend to bear the Minnesota cold.
